3 Day Weekend

So this weekend I had a three day weekend because I had no school on Friday. I was really excited because that meant I got to stay up late!!! YAY!!! I skateboarded all of Friday. I wanted to skateboard on Saturday but my leg hurt form all the pushing. Today it was all rainy and wet so my friend Alejandro came over to play MLB 07.

Baseball Southside

Yeah.... We played the Southside Giants who play in Ft. Lauderdale. We lost 2-1. I was 0-1. The pitcher on the other team threw like 65 mph so he was really hard to hit. I swung too early during my at bat and put it right down the 3rd baseline. I was really mad because I was pulled out of the game in the 5th inning. This is because according to league rules every kid has to hit once and play 2 innings in the field. So I would have hit but we needed to play this kid or we would have to forfeit. My coach was really mad that I wasn't allowed to hit because I was the only kid who pulled the ball of the other team's pitcher. Pulling the ball means you swing early. Anyways I have a game on Saturday. We will be playing the other southside team, but this time it will be at home so we will not have to travel to Ft. Lauderdale.

Skateboarding

Hi everyone, I plan to update my blog more often from now on. Well, I guess I am doing good in baseball. I have had two games so far and my team is 2-0. I was really bored so I figured out my batting average and my on base percentage. In case you don't know 1.000 is the best you can get in either of those catagories. My batting average is .333. I guess it is ok but im really proud of my on base percentage. It is .800.

Well besides baseball and homework I am spending my time skateboarding. All last weekend besides my baseball game (I forgot to tell you, we won 17-0) I skateboarded. I know a lot of tricks now. I'm so proud of them.

I have to go and do my homework, so I will update my blog on Wednesday and tell you how my baseball game went.
